HIKING ADVENTURES
What’s included in the guided hiking trips?
I offer a fully organized experience—everything is taken care of from the moment you arrive at the
destination. I’ll pick you up from the airport or train station, and from there, you can simply relax
and enjoy the journey. Comfortable accommodation, hearty meals, and even trail snacks are all
included. Most importantly, you’ll benefit from high-quality, personalized guiding—this means
preparing you for the trail conditions, ensuring your safety, and enriching your hike with insights into
the local landscapes, nature, and culture.
How experienced do I need to be to join a hike?
No previous hiking experience is required. All trips are tailor-made to match your needs and comfort
level. A basic level of fitness is helpful, as some hikes may be long, even if technically easy. For more
experienced hikers, I can design more challenging and adventurous routes. Before booking, I always
recommend an online meeting where we can discuss your expectations, fitness level, hike difficulty,
trip length, and any other details to ensure the perfect experience for you.
How many people can join a private hiking trip?
To ensure a personal, flexible, and high-quality experience, I guide small groups of up to 5 people.
This allows for more tailored support on the trail, better connection with nature, and the ability to
adjust plans to the group’s pace and interests. Whether you’re coming solo, as a couple, or with a
small group of friends or family, the focus remains on making the experience truly yours.
Are your trips suitable for families or children?
Yes, my trips can be a great experience for families—with children aged 12 and up. To ensure the
hike is safe and enjoyable for everyone, I’ll need to understand your child’s experience and fitness
level. We’ll discuss this during our initial online meeting, so I can plan a route that’s appropriate and
engaging. As always, safety is my top priority.
What should I pack for the hike?
What you’ll need depends on the specific hike, its length, and the season—but don’t worry, I’ll
provide a detailed packing list well before the trip. In general, no specialized gear is required.
Comfortable hiking clothes, sturdy shoes, and a daypack are usually all you need. In some cases, I
can also provide basic equipment like trekking poles if needed. I’ll make sure you’re fully prepared,
so you can focus on enjoying the journey.
Do you provide transportation and accommodation?
Yes, both ground transportation and accommodation are included in the price, so you don’t need to
worry about those details.
Are meals included, and can you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes, all meals are included, and I can accommodate any dietary requirements. We’ll discuss your
preferences in advance to ensure everything meets your needs.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Your safety and comfort are my top priorities. If severe weather is expected, we may adjust the
route, change the timing of the hike, or reschedule the activity if possible. Light rain or variable
weather usually won’t stop us—we’ll adapt with proper gear and precautions. I’ll always keep you
informed in advance and make decisions based on the latest forecasts and conditions on the ground.
How do I book a trip, and what is your cancellation policy?
To book a trip, simply reach out to me via email, and we’ll schedule an online meeting to discuss
your needs and preferences. Afterward, I’ll provide a detailed budget and the final price.
To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit is required via bank transfer, with the balance due by the first day of
the trip (either in cash or by bank transfer, in US dollars, Euros, or the local currency of the hike
destination).
You can cancel the trip up to one month before the hike with no cost. Cancellations made within 15
days of the trip will result in a 50% charge of the amount paid.
Can you customize a hike for a special occasion or request?
Absolutely! I’m happy to tailor the hike to your specific needs or occasion. Let’s discuss your ideas,
and I’ll make it happen.
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not mandatory, I always recommend that my clients have comprehensive
coverage, including mountain rescue options. In some cases, I can assist with arranging insurance for
you. For instance, in the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia, I highly recommend a great value insurance
option from a local Slovakian provider that covers mountain activities at an affordable price.
What safety measures do you have in place?
Safety is my top priority, so I always plan hikes that match your experience and fitness level. I closely
monitor weather forecasts and have extensive knowledge of the local terrain, ensuring I know
exactly where to get help if needed. For extra peace of mind, I carry a satellite device connected to
the rescue system, allowing me to call for assistance at any time. Additionally, I bring a first aid kit
and am trained to handle basic emergencies. Before we start, I’ll also provide a safety briefing to
ensure you’re well-prepared for the trail.
Do you offer gift vouchers or group discounts?
Currently, I don’t offer specific discounts, but hikes for groups of up to 5 people are typically more
cost-effective per person than for individuals or small groups. This is because certain costs, like local
transport, can be shared among the group. The overall price will also depend on your specific
preferences, such as the type of accommodation you’d like (luxury SPA or simpler lodging) or
whether additional services are needed, such as extra staff to carry belongings for multi-day hikes in
remote areas.

What types of research projects do you evaluate?
I provide expert evaluation and review services for a wide range of research projects, including

practical implications of a project. I assess proposals for their scientific merit, feasibility, and
alignment with funding priorities. I also focus on ensuring that the project is designed for effective
implementation, particularly in environmental and sustainability contexts.
Can you help with research project design and implementation?
Yes! In addition to evaluating proposals, I also provide guidance on research project design and

identification of key stakeholders, and strategies for overcoming challenges during project
execution. My focus is on ensuring the long-term impact and success of the project.
How do you engage stakeholders in your research?
I have extensive experience in engaging with stakeholders, end-users, and the public through a
variety of activities, such as workshops, surveys, seminars, popular science articles, and online

research findings are effectively disseminated and translated into action. I engage with stakeholders
in multiple languages, including English, Swedish, and Polish, to ensure broad accessibility.
